All components of the BG-679 are made from the highest grade components. The main drive wheel is machined out of solid billet aluminum. The front idler wheel is aluminum wrapped in polyurethane and designed to give the best grind on the market. Also included in this impressive package is a powerful vacuum motor designed to extract the metal dust before it escapes into the shop. The dust extraction system is a must have for any abrasive belt grinder and helps keep the machine and your shop floor clean from grinding debris. Like other Baileigh Industrial abrasive belt grinders the BG-679 is made from heavy steel that is folded and fully welded for rigidity and to help reduce vibration. The BG-679 also has a top cover that opens and can be used as a flat grinding position, perfect for castings.
